DISCOUNTED AND BULK BILLED CONSULTATIONS -

Milton Family Medical Practice is dedicated to playing a role in the Australian Government’s wider Closing The Gap strategy to improve access to health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders living in our community.

As part of this, if you as an eligible patient register at our Practice you will receive discounted consultations. Patients who have a current Concession Card or who are under 16 will be bulk-billed.

To be eligible you will need to sign a form stating that you want Milton Family Medical Practice to be your usual care provider.

MEDICATIONS AT LOW or NO COSTS -

Registering with us will also improve access to PBS medications for patients living with, or at risk of chronic disease. The cost of PBS medications prescribed for Closing The Gap patients will be significantly reduced and patients who have a current Concession Card will be able to obtain PBS medications for FREE.

HEALTH ASSESSMENTS -

Furthermore, at Milton Family Medical Practice, all eligible patients will be offered a bulk-billed Health Assessment with a Practice Nurse and their GP, every 9 to 12 months.

These include Medicare funded allied health referrals such as physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics, occupational therapy or podiatry.
